Meet Recap

As a whole, the team is getting faster. Last year only Matthew Agostinelli and Mckenzie Fennell automatically qualified in individual events and the girls 400 freestyle relay.

Halfway through the season, 2 swimmers are automatically qualified in individual events, Sr. Matthew Agostinelli (50, 200, and 500 freestyle, and 100 butterfly which was a new team record)- 8th grade- Abby Degarady in the 200 IM. The boys 200yrd free relay also automatically qualified-Z. Neumayer, S. Sutter, C. Shoemaker, M. Agostinelli.

Eight swimmers have consideration times along with the boys and girls 200 medley relays. Blake Brandon, Zach Neumayer, Abby Degarady, Carl Shoemaker, Brooke Ryles, Issy Dojan, Mckenzie Fennell, and Abby Hawk.

Every meet swimmers are dropping time and improving their performance. This year the team added 12 new swimmers to the roster all dramatically improving every meet. The city of goose creek is operating a great facility supporting these swimmers with the opportunities to strive for State recognition.
