Cameron Howard: Sportsmanship Player of the Week

Girl’s Volleyball player Cameron Howard is this week’s Sportsmanship Player of the Week. Cameron was nominated by Coach Lake for her willingness to do what is best for the team. Cameron comes off the bench to support the team, and she is always the first to set up the nets and the last to leave.

Volleyball Falls in Region Matches

The Lady Knights Volleyball traveled to Goose Creek for a pair of region games. The JV team lost 1-2 to rival Goose Creek and are now 6-6 on the season. The Varsity team started the night with an 0-2 loss to the Wando Warriors and finished the night with an 0-2 loss to Goose Creek.

Wrestling Sets Schedule for Upcoming Season

The Stratford Wrestling Program has set their schedule for the upcoming season. The Knights have several home matches on the schedule, and also travel to traditionally powerful tournaments throughout the season. Girl’s Tennis Defeats Goose Creek 5-2

The Stratford Knights Varsity Girl’s Tennis team defeated Goose Creek, 5 games to 2 on Tuesday night. Winning for the Knights in singles play were, Chrisia Class, Regan Cady, Celeste Class, and Catherine Carr. Volleyball Sweeps Timberland

The Lady Knights Volleyball teams played host to Timberland on Tuesday for a non-region matchup against the Lady Wolves. The JV team won 2-0 (27-25, 25-18) and are now 6-5 on the season. Stratford Swim Teams Place 4th @ Region Meet

The Region 7-AAAA swim meet was held Saturday, September 27th, at the Crowfield Pool. The Stratford Knights Boys and Girls teams both placed 4th. The Stratford High School Boys and Girls cross country teams were in action this past weekend at the Low Country Invitational held at Mullet Hall Equestrian Center.
