The Varsity Baseball team picked up a non-region win Wednesday night at home against Fort Dorchester. The Knights jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and never trailed in the 4-2 win. Jachin Davis got the start on the mound for the Knights, followed by Tripp Smith who picked up the win in relief. Kyle McDowell came on to record the save for Stratford. Davis led the Knights at the plate going 2-4 with a run. J'Qwan Crosby also collected two hits for the Knights and scored a run. Picking up hits for Stratford in addition to Davis and Crosby were Smith and Brayden Burnett. Smith also had an RBI along with Jarrett Wagner and Walt Argrett.
Stratford returns to action Friday on the road at Lucy Beckham.
