The Varsity softball team fell 1-0 to Berkeley in a region match-up Tuesday night. The game was resumed following the postponed game from a few weeks ago. The Knights and Stags battled through four and a half scoreless innings before Berkeley would jump on the board in the bottom of the fifth. The run would prove to be the winning run and final score margin. Lillian Hansen got the start in the circle for the Knights. The senior tossed six innings while surrendering three hits and 1 unearned run. At the plate, the Knights got hits from Layla Joyner and Hannah Miller.
Stratford returns to the diamond next Monday at Gray Collegiate. First pitch for the Varsity game is scheduled for 7:15 PM.
