Friday night at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, Chase Hoppock and Jason Heusinger made Stratford history by breaking the 3200 meter school record. The previous record was set by Ross Jordan in 2013 in which he ran 9:43 for the 3200. Chase and Jason both ran side by side for the entire race and ran 9:41. This is 4:52 per mile pace. These times currently place them 9th and 10th in the 3200 in 5A. They will be racing this Friday night at Seneca High School in the Coaches Classic Elite Meet. This will be another great opportunity for them to set the school record again.
